This week we would like feature a
beautiful shot of the Moon - taken by Mathew Fishwick. Evidently as can
be seen in the photo above, Fishwick was extremely lucky to have been
observing the skies through his telescope when he saw a plane fly across
the face of the moon. This lovely shot demonstrates the unexpected fun
any astronomer - expert or amateur - can encounter when looking up into
the great heavens.
