Photo of the Week

 For this week''s Photo of the Week, we would like to bring attention to this amazing shot of the Milky Way taken by the talented Mark Polsen. Unlike most shots our home galaxy, the light in this photo was diffused by some light clouds. This produced the shining halos around each of the visible stars in the photo above.In addition, you may have also noticed  the two streaks dominating the centre of this image. Those would be two planes, dancing under the Milky Way. The combination of diffused light and dancing planes brings out the distinct beauty and mystery one experiences when one looks up into the endless night sky.
