For this week's Photo of the Week,
we'd thought we'd showcase the artistic aspect of astrophotography this
week by featuring this amazing photo of an airplane in the dusky sky.
Taken by the talented photographer Mary J, this photograph's original
caption "Mom,
I'm leaving Earth." is a vivid representation of every
astronomy-enthusiast's dreams. Flying off towards the Moon and beyond
during the twilight hours when the stars begin to peep into existence is
a real dream come true for any astrophotographer journeying into the
expansive wilds in search for the best night shot.
