 This week for Photo of the Week, we would like to feature an amazing shot of our home galaxy to end the official Milky Way season (but don't worry, there will still be plenty more of amazing night shots all through winter). Taken by Alex McGregor just south of Breckenridge, Colorado, this eye-catching shot combines the amazing summer Milky Way with a winter commodity that can only be found high up in the mountains during early autumn - snow . This fantastic duo make for a mountain landscape that just seems to pop right out of the screen - as if you were there yourself.
