Photo of the Week

Article Written By: Kyle Tam

This week for Photo of the Week, we would like to feature a stunning shot of the Pleiades star cluster. Captured by the talented Francesco Bruni in Collio, Italy, this shot was made possible using a Nikon D3300 and a Meade Instruments LX600 Telescope. With an exposure of 5 hours, Bruni was able to capture the stunning blues of light given off by the Seven Sisters while also preserving impeccable detail of the gas clouds surrounding the cluster as well as the neighbouring stars.

For more fantastic photos, be sure to check out Bruni's Instagram @bruni_ph at https://www.instagram.com/bruni_ph/
