This week for Photo of the Week, we
would like to feature a fantastic shot of the Milky Way taken by
skilled photographer Matthias. Taken during this year's Perseid Meteor
Shower, our beautiful home galaxy is visited by the beautiful streaks of
burning meteors entering our atmosphere at blistering speeds. For their
sacrifice, around mid-August as Earth enters the remnants of comet
Swiff-Tuttle, we are greeted with the beautiful streaks associated with
the Perseid Meteor Shower.
For more fantastic photos, be sure to check out Matthias' Instagram at: https://www.instagram.com/adventuresbymatthias/
