SUNDAY SPECIAL: The Cassini E-Book
If NASA's Cassini spacecraft's fiery plunge into Saturn has stoked your passion for photos of Saturn and its accompanying rings, fear not for the agency has released a new e-book. The cool read highlights fascinating photos and important scientific discoveries made during the thirteen years Cassini spent around the ringed planet
The collection of images in the e-book are split into five parts. The first section showcases Saturn proper, while the second takes a closer look at its exquisite rings. Afterwards, the potentially habitable moons Titans and Enceladus each receive their own parts. The last chapter covers the other moons of the Saturn system.
Be sure to check out the e-book at https://www.nasa.gov/connect/ebooks/the-saturn-system.html . However, if you're not feeling up to undertaking the work of downloading the e-book, be sure to check out the images above taken by Cassini:
1. Cover of NASA's free e-book
2. A view of Saturn's rings
3. Photograph of Earth seen by Cassini
4. Infrared view of Saturn's largest moon, Titan
5. Water escaping Enceladus, another moon of Saturn
6. The hexagonal storm at Saturn's north pole
