This week's Photo of the Week
features a beautiful nightscape of the Milky Way over the Pacific Coast
Highway 1 in California. Taken by skilled photographer Sayan Ghosh, this
lovely work of art is a product of rare perfect conditions. During the
summer months, nights are often dominated by fog. Not only was the sky
clear that night, but the road was dominated by two cars in ideal
positions that created these beautiful light trails visible in the photo
above. All together, this lovely composition paints a perfect picture
of the beauty of the California Pacific Coast - both during the day and
the night.
